Waiver and Release of Liability SEASIDE PICKLEBALL LLC LEAGUE WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I, [participant's name], hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1    ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK: I acknowledge that playing pickleball involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of personal injury, property damage, or death. I understand that these risks cannot be eliminated entirely, and I accept and assume the risks associated with playing pickleball.

2    WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY: In consideration for being permitted to participate in the pickleball league organized by Seaside Pickleball LLC I hereby release and waive any and all claims I may have against Seaside Pickleball LLC its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents (the "Released Parties") arising from my participation in the league, including but not limited to any injury, damage, or loss caused by the negligence of the Released Parties.

3    ASSUMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY: I assume full responsibility for any and all risks associated with playing pickleball, including but not limited to those arising from my own negligence or the negligence of others.

4    INDEMNIFICATION: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, damages, or expenses arising from my participation in the pickleball league, including but not limited to those arising from my own negligence or the negligence of others.

5    MEDICAL TREATMENT: In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Released Parties to obtain any necessary medical treatment on my behalf.

6    CONSENT TO USE OF LIKENESS: I grant permission for the Released Parties to use my name, likeness, photograph, or video footage in connection with any promotional or marketing materials for the pickleball league.  Acknowledgement of league rules and regulations: Players must wear closed toe athletic shoes to participate. Only registered players may play. The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited. The courts are temporary and taped down.

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT. I SIGN THIS WAIVER VOLUNTARILY AND WITHOUT INDUCEMENT.
